Founder
Modern Tech Solutions is led by Orel Barclay, an educator and technology builder with more than two decades of teaching experience and degrees in Education and Information Technology.
His background includes studies in accounting, management, marketing, project management, and organizational behavior, alongside practical experience developing business ventures and digital platforms. This helps him connect technology decisions to everyday needs—from customer inquiries and payments to staff coordination and service delivery.
Examples of digital projects he has developed include ModernChurchOS, Modern Property Care, Community Bridge Columbia, and AdventPrepConnect.
Orel’s approach is straightforward: understand the people, make complex ideas clear, and build tools that support their work. He emphasizes practical guidance, training, and ongoing support so organizations can use their systems with confidence.
